Why is Niagara Falls a honeymoon destination?
Niagara Falls has been a honeymoon destination for more than 200 years. The daughter of Aaron Burr, the 3rd Vice President of the United States went to Niagara Falls for her honeymoon in 1801 and in 1804 Napolean's brother, Jerome Bonaparte, travelled by stagecoach from New Orleans to Niagara Falls for his honeymoon. Thus began the journey of many newly married couples choosing Niagara Falls as their honeymoon destination of choice.
