How old is Niagara Falls?
Niagara Falls is about 12,000 years old. The majestic all natural falls you see today were left behind after the glaciers retreated and filled what is now known as The Great Lakes. The image below is from 1931 and shows both the American Bridal Veil Falls and the famous Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
